All in all, can't wait for episode 2. . Think high school, you know the usual romance, love, breakups, drama, and betrayal but now with added murder! They ripped it straight from Wes Craig's art, was a nice touch. The X-Men reference was a brilliant addition.
Set in the 1980s, it's a series centered around a high school but not just any ordinary high school. I'm just spitting ideas now. There's assassination, murder, killing, nihilism, depressing moments, funny moments, awesome moments and everything in between! Her Día de Muertos costume and makeup were flawless. What is Deadly Class about? Really hyped for the rest of the season! We did see a rat piece on Billy, and a hand-shake piece on Willie, then we see a dagger piece on Marcus when Lin gives Saya the rest of the assignment. On the other hand, I usually dislike character shows tries to sell to me, but Maria is honestly amazing, just enough of playful and reckless with people to be dangerously intriguing.
It's everything you never knew you wanted in a comicbook series! With the pieces it definitely looked like Lin is playing them as pawns, or something. Having a mature comic book show outside of a streaming service is nice and I look forward to seeing how it improves over time. Come and join the discussion! Can't wait to see more, am already in love with Maria, even though she's a bag of trouble. This is a community to discuss the 2014 comicbook series , created by and Wesley Craig. Hope they keep it up. Look forward to seeing how they adapt the other mature themes of the comic book in further episodes.
Seriously though, it's really good and you should check it out. Brandy is interesting, wanna see her develop and see her past that shaped who she is, might turn out to be traditional demon cheerleader villain, but every villain thinks they're the hero, and I wanna see how she ticks. . . . .
