We saw and spoke with one of the new owners several times as he was walking the park, taking note of where to concentrate the rejuvenation efforts. Could not even drain our septic and clean it when it was time to go. Site was long pull through concrete pad. There is a large building for gatherings. I would guess that the skid steer hook-up is still available. Our site was on the edge of the campground and more spacious than some. I like to camp close to the 76 strip in the off season but when that gets too crowded, I return to this state park.
This campground is part of Ocean Canyon properties. Staff is also very willing to offer suggestions. We camped at Table Rock Lake State Park in a Fifth Wheel. Located central to Branson's attractions this place is loaded with things to do and s great staff. Entrance located on a down hill, but once in park, entrance is wide, easy access. Campsites were clean and spacious as well. The shuttle bus quits at about 530ish, so if you go to dinner or such you may not have a ride back.
There is a store on site for items needed in an emergency and it is close to a Wally World. They did not give us a reason or compensate for this. Couldn't flush your toilet, wash dishes, shower, or even brush your teeth. Good utilities and quiet location. Roads in park are wide enough to maneuver a big rig. This made our first Branson visit an awesome experience. The site we were in, was listed as a pull through and supposed to be big enough for our 42' fifth wheel, but when it came time to leave we had to back out of the site instead of pulling through due to some very close trees and a sharp turn on our right side.
We go to Branson a lot but will not come back here. We were easily checked in and driven around to pick our site. Not as convenient to Branson activities as some of the other choices. We are a short walk to most of Branson's music shows, restaurants and attractions. Most sites have trees, and was told I wouldn't be able to get satellite, but we did, otherwise they have cable. The sites were level, the host was very friendly and the park was easy to get around. Branson is also known for great restaurants and award-winning golf courses. The staff consists of mostly work-campers who totally get it and are really nice to deal with. We stayed in campground 1 with a full hook up. This is an older campground with lots of shade and charm, however, it also has predominately smaller camp sites.
Free High Speed Wifi Internet Available Free High Speed WiFi available through out the campground. I did not pick up on that and we are stuck in a 30A site my fault. The pavilion is open to the public, in addition to that that is the road to the community boat ramp. You will be close enough that you won't miss any of the Branson excitement, but far enough away that you will be able to relax in a peaceful, serene setting when your day winds down. If we were in the area again, we might consider a private park and all the amenities they offer instead since the full hookup sites here were just as close together as those at private campgrounds. Very affordable place to use as a home base for a Branson activities.
Trails are not marked that great. Standing 150-feet tall, you are sure to receive a unique view of the city and the surrounding area. The owners were very helpful in suggesting shows we might like. Experience the Attractions Branson, Missouri is the ideal destination for a family vacation. They should let people know about this when they book.
Some of the sites farther up on the hill are better. The setting of the resort is quite peaceful and relaxing. The bathrooms were kept clean! They are trying to grow more interior trees it appears. We camped at Table Rock Lake State Park in a Motorhome. I had a local welder frabricate one for me very heavy duty for 300. We stayed here for a week in October. The picnic table was wooden and well well worn.
